Folklore

The debut release "Folklore" by singer songwriter Sean Pinchin plays more like a map of one's journey than a full-fledged attempt at becoming a star. Sean Pinchin has been performing for many years in many acts and this album shows you how he travelled from a 3 piece band ensemble to solo slide guitar and vocals. "Folklore" includes mostly original songs, plus four classic blues "interpretations". All the music on this album has been arranged by Sean Pinchin. THIS CD WAS RECORDED LIVE WITH NO OVERDUBS, mostly in friends livingrooms, kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms. Since its release the album has sold very well locally at live performances and internationally via CD Baby. This album marks the beginning of what Sean would call his life's work.

In Transit

Sean Pinchin continues his vision on his second release "In Transit". Named in part by the amount of driving he does in his beloved green 97 Caravan (Green Van), "In Transit" has 7 new tracks that cross the blues/folk style he has been crafting for years with a more edgy alternative folk style. Sean returns in full power playing on lap style slide guitar, acoustic guitar and a National Resophonic guitar. With the addition of a stompboard built by a friend, he takes on an almost "one man band" approach. The songs on this album reflect his loves, obsessions, and other fragments of his life. This disc also features 2 instrumentals that give a nod to the lonely and often alienated lifestyle that traveling songsmiths often endure. Also included are 3 BONUS tracks from his debut "Folklore" album,  re-recorded and ready for more enjoyment! This album was inspired by Chris Whiltey, one of Sean's biggest hero's, as well as to the memory of Jeff Healy. The whole CD was recorded in one day LIVE WITH NO OVERDUBS.
